Rainbow International School donates 1 house under the Decent Living Campaign

One Vulnerable family in Central Uganda will now have a decent place to call home, thanks to Rainbow International School Uganda, who donated 5,500 USD ( 20 million Uganda shillings) which is the actual amount needed to construct 1 house. So far 3 families’ lives will now have a decent place to call home thanks to the students’ generosity. The ground breaking ceremony is scheduled for June 14th 2019.

HFHU launched the Decent Living Campaign on 26th October 2018, a campaign aimed at improving the lives of 20 vulnerable families annually by building the strength, stability and self -reliance of these families through improved shelter, improved livelihoods, families, improved access to safe water tank and Improved hygiene and sanitation, through construction of ventilated pit latrine and shower stall.

The campaign is not donor funded and is relying on the good will of partners, well-wishers, corporate organizations and schools, among others to ensure that at least 20 elderly or Orphans and Vulnerable children ( OVC) have a place to call home.
