Brendah Luyiga joined at Habitat for Humanity Uganda in 2017 as the Donor Engagement and Communications Officer and now currently holds the Communication and Advocacy Specialist.
She has been engaged in the housing and Urbanization sector for 8 years and is also member of Uganda Human Settlements Network where she has worked on and supported various housing communication and advocacy strategies including recommendations to the National Housing Policy, Building control Act and the NDP111 Programme implementation of the Housing and Urbanization Sector.
Brendah has worked with both Private and NGO sectors that include Guardian Georgia, Shelter and Settlements Alternatives WWF Uganda, European Union Election Observation mission Uganda 2011& 2016,
She is an Executive member of the Uganda National Urban Forum, Board member of the School of Real Estate and Infrastructure Development, a Rotarian and also a very passionate person in making a difference in vulnerable communities for a better Uganda.
She holds a bachelor degree in Mass Communication from Makerere University, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Uganda Management Institute and currently doing her Masters in Communications at Liverpool Johns Moores University UK
